PhD opportunity - "Barriers and solutions to creating environmentally sustainable surgery"

Short notice, as closing date Sunday 3 April - a PhD opportunity at the University of Birmingham (for those with a medical degree)

The project would be based in the global surgery unit at the University of Birmingham (https://www.globalsurgeryunit.org/). This is a multidisciplinary team with excellent global collaborations. Recent research fellows have published in The Lancet, Lancet Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Lancet Infectious Diseases papers. Supervisor is Aneel Bhangu: https://www.aneelbhangu.co.uk/

Start date ideally Sept 2022, but can be delayed to Sept 2023.
