Since the new network’s platform relaunch, we have been working hard to make sure everything is the best it can be for you. There are a couple of updates we’d really like to remind you of, particularly on how to update your notification settings, you will find this useful if you want to change the amount of correspondence you receive from the networks. It’s quick and easy to do, simply log into your account > go to your profile picture (top right-hand corner, a drop down will appear) > select ‘settings’ > scroll down to ‘email notifications’ > edit ‘message to me’ ‘what I manage’ ‘what I follow’ ‘system notifications’. You can select from several options, from immediately to never.

The Networks Platform Guidance Document is a handy tool for all things related to getting on and using your account on the platform. If you have any questions along the way don’t hesitate to contact Rachael.ward@sustainablehealthcare.org.uk who is on hand Monday-Thursday to help you!

New networks

Women’s Health Susnetan online community of healthcare professionals committed to tackling the environmental impact of women's health. We aim to foster collaboration between obstetricians, gynaecologists, midwives, sexual health practitioners, nurses, researchers, educators, and students to improve the sustainability of our specialty by sharing knowledge, ideas, and examples of good practice.

Pharmacy Susnet - for pharmacy professionals, pharmacy teams, educators, researchers and students working or studying in all sectors of pharmacy in the UK, Europe and further afield. The aim of the network is to connect pharmacy and encourage the sharing and dissemination of knowledge and experience relating to sustainable pharmacy practice and education. As experts in medicines, pharmacy teams play a key role in meeting the net zero targets of health care systems and in addressing the wider environmental impact of pharmaceuticals. We aim to support and encourage pharmacy teams in this work.

Food & Nutrition Susnet - for anyone wanting to connect, collaborate and advance sustainable food and nutrition in healthcare. Our scope includes the environmental and health impact of global food systems, the latest research and evidence on sustainable diets, and the interpretation of this into dietary guidance.

SusQI Academy closed group - This network is a closed group for SusQI Academy members, who are leading within their organisations to integrate environmental and social sustainability into existing Quality Improvement (QI) education and practice. It is a space to ask questions, share best practice, ideas, and resources, and to be supported through the challenges that we face in carrying out this work.
