We are delighted to share that Circle of Life Rediscovery CIC is offering fully funded places on our accredited Level 3 Certificate in Nature-Based Practice through our new Green Allies: Nature & Community Programme.
This opportunity is for community leaders, VCSE organisations, social workers, wellbeing practitioners and community-based organisations who support local people and want to develop safe, inclusive and meaningful outdoor sessions for their communities.
The programme will support 10 community-based “Green Allies” to develop the skills and confidence to take their work outdoors, supporting both people and place. The training will help participants design and deliver nature-based sessions that improve wellbeing, reduce isolation, build confidence and connection, while also supporting care for land, biodiversity and local nature recovery.
We are particularly keen to hear from people or organisations who already work with communities experiencing barriers to accessing nature, including people experiencing isolation, stress, anxiety, neurodivergence, menopause, health inequalities or lack of safe outdoor space.
Applicants may already have access to a local green space, woodland, community garden, allotment or outdoor site — or have a clear idea of where nature-based sessions could take place.
