I am delighted to invite you to our upcoming webinar Empowering the Healthcare Workforce for a Sustainable Future taking place on 11th February at 11am.  

This one-hour panel discussion will explore the critical role of building skills and capability within the healthcare workforce to meet sustainability goals and deliver on wider Green Plan mandates. 

The discussion will be hosted by Simon Baker, Commercial Director at LDN Apprenticeships and you’ll hear from an expert panel including: 

• Chris Gormley – Chief Sustainability Officer, NHS England  
• Martin Baxter – Deputy CEO, ISEP  
• Lucy Brown – Head of Sustainability, Circle Health Group  

We’ll begin by clarifying what sustainability really means in a healthcare context, before moving into practical insights on:  

• Prioritisation under pressure – balancing immediate operational demands with long-term environmental commitments  
• Future direction – policy, innovation, workforce development and systemic change shaping sustainable healthcare  

We’ll also include a Learner Q&A, where LDN alumni will share real-world sustainability projects and the impact they’ve achieved.
