At this event, Angeline Taylor (Team Lead Kidney Dietitian, Royal Deveon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust) will be discussing Chronic Kidney Disease, why plant based diets are beneficial for CKD and her factsheets, including  Enjoying a Plant-Based Diet with Chronic Kidney Disease

Sustainable kidney care delivers high quality care without damaging the environment, is affordable now and in the future and delivers positive social impact.

The climate emergency is a health emergency, and as a result, addressing climate change has been described as the greatest health opportunity of this century.

Come along to this global networking event and meet other people who would like to make nephrology practice more sustainable. All are welcome.

Angeline Taylor has been a registered dietitian for 15 years and practiced  within the kidney specialty for the past 12 years.   Currently, Angeline holds the position of Lead Renal Dietitian for an NHS Trust.  She is also Chair of the Bristish Dietetic Association Renal Nutrition Group, and the Lead Renal Dietitian for Kidney Care UK's Kidney Kitchen.  She sits on the UK Kidney Association Sustainability committee and the Patient Information committee.  Angeline see patients with a variety of kidney conditions and at various stages of the disease, from early to advanced stages of chronic kidney disease, dialysis, kidney transplantation, as well as acute illness on a busy NHS ward.  In collaboration with the Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, Angeline has developed a range of plant-based factsheets for people living with kidney disease.
