Sustainable Kidney Care - Online Networking Event

Eleanor Murray (Renal Consultant, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and UKKA Kidney Unit Sustainability Champion) will be discussing the carbon impact of Haemodialysis (HD) and how their Incremental HD project showed value across the triple bottom line, reducing the carbon footprint, saving money and improving quality of life for service users. We will also be discussing the Kidney Unit Sustainability Champion scheme.

Sustainable kidney care delivers high quality care without damaging the environment, is affordable now and in the future and delivers positive social impact. 

The climate emergency is a health emergency, and as a result, addressing climate change has been described as the greatest health opportunity of this century.
