Spending time in green space is beneficial for people’s mental and physical health and wellbeing. This network is a space to share ideas on how to incorporate nature into healthcare, ask questions, discuss the latest research and celebrate successes. Whether you’re interested in occupational therapy, green social prescribing, therapeutic horticulture, or staff wellbeing, do share your thoughts and experiences on how green space can be used to support patients, healthcare professionals and the wider community.
For more ways to get involved in the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare’s Green Space for Health programme, including greening your NHS site and accessing evidence and resources, visit the NHS Forest website and Evidence page, a curated library of academic research, policy briefings, tools and reports covering a whole spectrum of issues, from biodiversity and climate change to green social prescribing and nature connection.
