An analysis of the components of the carbon footprint of dermatologic surgery in NZ. By far most CO2 emissions are generated from transportation (patients and staff), so avoiding unnecessary appointments, minimising extra visits and ideally undertaking procedures on the day of the clinic visit all help to reduce carbon emissions.
