Hi all,

Wondering if any of you work in an organisation that is managing to use predominantly reusable baby bottles? And if so, if you would be happy to share any information on brand and sterilising method, anything else.

Many thanks.

Hi Zoe,

I saw a post somewhere about Watford General Hospital introducing reusable, but still plastic bottles. I can't find the post anymore, but found a news article about it: https://www.hemeltoday.co.uk/health/reusable-baby-bottles-benefits-new-…

I also found a NICE guidance for donor and expressed milk that discusses glass vs other materials on pp 74 and following, and it only specifies that it needs to be stored in food grade material containers, not sterile or single-use: https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/cg93/evidence/full-guideline-243964189

I think there is not much published yet. Maybe you could contact the infant feeding leads in your organisation and ask?
